Cage Gate

Two gates per cage, one at each end: the front gate handles people and materials at ground level, the rear gate lines up with the floor landing for access to upper levels.

Each gate is hinged on its own frame and opens outward. Gate travel is wired into the electrical interlock: if either gate is not fully locked, the hoist cannot move.
